The snow has kept falling over the last week, another 25cm fell on Sunday alone.  The forecast is for more snow during the week and clearing on Friday for a fabulous weekend with plenty of sunshine!

If you are lucky enough to be able to get away for one last trip of the season you are in for a real treat. Our staff are reporting great skiing as low at 1600M and claim to have found untracked powder higher up.  If you are tempted to spend a whole season in the Alps why not apply for a job early.

We’ve had typical Spring conditions over the past few days, so the sun tans are coming along nicely !  There’s heavy snow forcast for Friday night, the 3 Valleys say down to 600M; so be ready to hit the slopes for the weekend.  Then Monday/Tuesady the tempearture is due to drop agin with more snow down to 1200M.  With up to 40cm of fresh snow on the way it looks just like we are in for a serious snow fall to see us through to the end of April.

After good snowfalls across France’s ski areas, many resorts are now opening, including Lans en Vercours, La Cluzac and Collet d’Allevard.

many more plan to at least partially open this weekend, including Alpe d’Huez, the Grande Montets at Chamonix, Les Arcs, Meribel and possibly Courcheval.

Already open is Val Thorens, which is reporting 40cm of fresh snow and with more than a metre of snow lying, has one of the deepest bases in the country!
